Claiming your artist profile on a streaming service is one of the first steps to take control of your music career. When you claim your profile, you unlock tools to customize your page, add a bio, upload photos, and see basic listening stats. Most services require that your music is already live before you can claim a profile. Below is a simple guide on how to claim your artist profile on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, and TIDAL. Follow these steps so you can manage how fans see you and stay informed about how people listen to your songs.
Why claim your artist profile?
Ownership and control. You can edit your photo, bio, and social links.
Fan engagement. Add tour dates or playlists, and let fans know about new releases.
Basic insights. At a glance, see how many followers you have and which cities your streams come from.
Brand consistency. Make sure your page shows the right artist name, picture, and story.
Before you begin, make sure your music is already distributed to these platforms. If you are using MusicDigi (or any distributor), confirm that your latest release has appeared on each service. Once your music is live, jump into the instructions below.
— Upload your music to Spotify, Apple Music and more.
Link: Spotify for Artists
Go to the site. Open a browser and visit https://artists.spotify.com/.
Log in or sign up. If you already have a Spotify account, click “Log in.” If not, click “Sign up” to create a free Spotify listener account first.
Verify your identity. After logging in, you will see a prompt to “Get Access.” Click it and make sure you select “Artist or Manager,” then enter your artist name exactly as it appears on Spotify.
Pick one of your releases. Spotify will ask you to select a track, EP, or album where you are listed as the primary artist. Choose a recent release that is definitely yours.
Fill in distributor info. If you used MusicDigi to distribute, enter “MusicDigi” as your distributor. If you used someone else, enter that name instead. Spotify uses this info to check with the distributor that you are the real artist.
Wait for approval. Spotify reviews your request, which can take a few days. When it is approved, you’ll get an email notification.
Customize your page. Once inside Spotify for Artists, upload a profile photo (preferably at least 3000×3000 pixels), write a short artist bio, and add social media links.
Tips:
Use a clear, high-resolution image for your profile photo.
Keep your bio under 100 words or so; it appears on mobile devices too.
You can also add playlists to your page to share other artists or songs you love.

Visit the Apple Music for Artists page. Open https://artists.apple.com/ in your browser.
Log in with your Apple ID. You need an Apple ID for this. If you do not have one, create an Apple ID first at appleid.apple.com.
Request access. After logging in, click the button that says “Request Access.” Apple will ask you to search for your artist name.
Select a release. Choose one song, EP, or album that is already live on Apple Music.
Choose a verification method. Connect an Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook account that is linked to your artist profile
Wait for confirmation. Apple Music for Artists will send you an email once your artist profile is verified. That can take anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days.
Start personalizing. Once you have access, upload a cover image (minimum 3000×3000 pixels), write a bio, and add links to your social media.
Tips:
If you use social media verification, make sure the connected profile shows you as the artist or band.
If you run into issues, double-check that your music is live under the correct artist name on Apple Music.

Click “Request Access.” On the homepage, look for “Get Verified” or “Request Access.”
Enter your artist name. Amazon will ask you to search for your exact artist name.
Pick a release. Select a track or album where you are the main artist that is currently streaming on Amazon Music.
Provide distributor info. If you used MusicDigi, enter that name here. You may also need to provide a contact email for your distributor.
Submit and wait. Amazon will review your request so that they know you really represent that artist. This can take a day or two.
Finalize your profile. Once approved, you can log in to Amazon Music for Artists and add a profile photo, write a bio, and link your social platforms.
Tips:
Having your Amazon retail account set up with a profile image and a name helps speed up verification.
If you can’t find your artist name in the search, confirm that your music is live and that the name matches exactly.

Click “Request Access.” On the Deezer for Creators homepage, look for a button or link that says “Request Access.”
Choose your role. Select “Artist” or “Manager” when prompted.

Your artist name (exactly as it appears on Deezer).

Submit and wait. Deezer may take a few days or up to a couple of weeks to approve you.
Customize your artist page. After approval, upload a profile photo (1200×1200 px minimum), write a short bio, and link your social media. Deezer also allows you to highlight up to five favorite tracks for the first 30 days after release.
Tips:
Keep your UPC or ISRC code handy when filling out the form.

Search for your artist name. Enter it exactly how it appears on TIDAL.
Select one release. TIDAL will ask you to choose a track, EP, or album you have released.
Verify your identity. TIDAL lets you confirm either by connecting a social media account (Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook) linked to you as an artist or by entering your distributor’s name and contact email. If you used MusicDigi, use that as the distributor.
Wait for TIDAL to review. The approval process typically takes a few days.
Build your TIDAL Artist Home page. After approval, you can upload a profile photo, update your bio, add social links, and view simple listening insights (such as top cities and age ranges).
Tips:
If you run into a “profile already claimed” message, TIDAL provides a way to report that issue so they can fix it.
A clear, high-resolution profile image and a concise bio (under 200 words) make your page look more professional.
Claiming your artist profile on each streaming service helps you build a consistent brand and connect with fans more easily. Most platforms let you upload a profile photo, add a basic bio, and provide social media links. In return, you gain a simple view of how your music is performing and a way to let fans know who you are beyond the tracks they stream.
The process can vary from a few hours (Apple Music) to a couple of weeks (Deezer). Be patient, supply accurate information, and make sure your music is live before submitting. Once you have access, spend a little time customizing each page so that fans see your best photo, read a short but clear bio, and can follow you on social media.
